It’s so crazy to think how long human beings have been exchanging wedding rings for. Wikipedia says, “It is widely believed that the first examples of wedding rings were found in ancient Egypt. Relics dating back as far as 6,000 years ago.” So I think it’s pretty cool that we’ve kept a tradition and symbol like this in wedding ceremonies for so long!
Finding a way to capture the rings and have it be not just a picture of three objects, but to have the image show the commitment and the emotion that the rings represent. It’s a chance to slow down during the busy wedding day and focus in one three objects and their meaning.
So here on the blog today are some favourite ring photographs that I was lucky to get to capture.
